So, tell us. What is Bow Tie Benny all about?

I’ve always fancied myself a philanthropist. Most recently, I’ve become an advocate for abused, neglected, displaced, and homeless animals.

Hence the bowties?
[btb]
Ah, yes. The bowties. Have you ever seen anything so dapper?
[tes]
Actually, I have not. And they look quite good on you!
[btb]
Yes, well. They look quite good on everyone, my dear.

We don’t disagree! So, you are Havanese. And eleven?
[btb]
Seventy-seven years young, yes.
[tes]
Right… Seventy-seven. And you just launched this new line of Not So Ugly Holiday bowties. But we’re curious—why bowties?
[btb]
Well, the bowtie has a long and storied history among the Havanese. It was my Great Great Greatest Great Grandfather, Sebastian de Bowwow Bowtie, who first invented the bowtie as a way to keep his luscious fur propped up and dignified, even while herding chickens.

Actually, I think the bowtie originated among 17th century Croa—

Needless to say, bowties quickly became a huge hit. I mean, who doesn’t want to look dapper while herding?

Naturally.
[btb]
After many years of bow-ing and tie-ing, our family eventually created the very first holiday bows for gift wrapping.
